NORCECA Volleyball 2012

It's that time of year again when the NORCECA Volleyball Circuit makes its way to a favorite destination for players and spectators alike: Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. The event draws teams from all over North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, and the international flair can be felt from the way the beach is set-up to the way the teams play.

CayCompass.com reports that 43 squads representing 16 countries will be in attendance. The tournament will be held at the public beach this weekend, March 23-25, with free admission for all. More information can be found on Cayman Active's site, including volunteer needs (read: get closer to the players!). So get ready for some world-class action on the sand this weekend, and be prepared to cheer on our very own Cayman players, including Richard Campbell, Shervin Rankin, Andrew Gordon, Olney Thompson, Duncan Hamann, Philippe Deslandes, Cristin Alexander, and Jennifer Bily. Go Cayman Islands! (And of course: Go USA!!)

  1. Beach volleyball is my one of the most favorite game, which I love to play. Before learning about this game, I want to tell something about this game. It’s a game of nine players.
